How do I download your program?
AppShore provides an Internet based solution. There is nothing to download and nothing to install. All you need is access to the Internet and an up to date web browser with Javascript and cookies activated. We support and test under Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari. Internet Explorer version 7 will work but for some advanced graphical features. Other browsers should work but are not explicitly supported.

Can I run your program on my own web server or on my PC or desktop?
No. We provide an Internet based product. All you need is access to the web and a modern browser.

Do I have to sign any contracts or make any long term commitments?
No. There are no long term contracts or commitments. We offer subscriptions for one to twelve months. Subscriptions are not renewed automatically at the end of the period.

How do I pay for the service?
We are working with a trusted payment gateway provider which accepts all major credit/debit cards. We never know or store your credit/debit card information, the financial transaction is handled by the payment gateway provider.
Alternatively we accept direct deposit or wire tranfer to our US bank account.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging in to your AppShore account and close the account. Or, send us an email and we will close your account for you. We do not provide refunds for subscriptions canceled before the expiration date.

How do I upgrade from the 30 day free trial to a paid subscription?
Administrative permissions are required to upgrade your AppShore account to a paid subscription. Go to Administration>Company>Upgrade AppShore and enter the number of users you would like to license. Then follow the check out process handled by the payment gateway web site. Be sure you click on the link to return to the AppShore web site at the end of the process. This is the final step to complete the order.

How do I upgrade or downgrade from one Edition to another Edition?
Administrative permissions are required to upgrade or downgrade your AppShore account. Go to Administration>Company>Upgrade AppShore. Select the new Edition from the drop down menu and enter the number of users you would like to license. Then follow the check out process handled by the payment gateway web site. Be sure you click on the link to return to the AppShore web site at the end of the process. This is the final step to complete the order.

How do I add or remove user licenses from my account?
Administrative permissions are required to add or remove users. Go to Administration>Company>Upgrade AppShore. Where prompted, enter the number of users you want to have licensed after the modification of the order. Then follow the check out process handled by the payment gateway web site. Be sure you click on the link to return to the AppShore web site at the end of the process. This is the final step to complete the order.

What kind of customer support do I get with my subscription?
Email support and tickets application are included in your paid subscription and during your 30 day free trial. We are passionate about providing superior customer service and support. Usually we try to reply to email within an hour or less.

How easy is it to import data into AppShore?
Importing data is simple. We accept .csv files as import data. Excel spreadsheets can be saved as .csv files. Go to File, Save as, and select Common Separated Values (.csv) from the drop list labeled File Type to save an Excel spreadsheet as a .csv file. Most desktop and web based applications like ACT!, Goldmine, QuickBooks, and salesforce.com provide a way for you to export data and save it to your hard drive in a .csv file format. You can also export your Outlook address book to a .csv file format. Once you have a .csv file, just click on Import under the AppShore application tabs to begin mapping the data in your file to our database fields. It is a simple two step process.

Can I export my data from AppShore?
Yes. Every application has an export option at the top left of the screen. The data will be exported to a .csv file which you can then save to your hard drive. A .csv file can be saved as an Excel spreadsheet.

What is your Privacy Policy?
Our Privacy Policy is published on this web site. We are not in the business of buying, selling, or trading email addresses. Nor would we ever think of selling or allowing any third party to gain access to your company’s data.

How secure is my data?
Each AppShore customer has their own dedicated database instance that is secured by up to three credentials (company alias, user name or email address, and password). You are not sharing a database with other customers so there is no chance of intentional or accidental access to your data, unless you allow your credentials to be compromised or shared. The data centers where our servers are located are state-of-the-art. They are physically secured with access codes and biometrics. They all have redundant sprinkler and air conditioning systems, and raised floors for flood protection.

Do you back up my data base?
Yes, we do nightly back ups, including records, documents, emails, and images, and we keep the back ups for 30 days.

Can you restore my data base to a previous point in time?
Yes, for a small fee we can restore your data base to a point in time going back 30 days.

Can you provide a back up of my data?
You can export your data (csv format) from your AppShore account with the export feature integrated with each application.
For a small fee, We can also create a back up file (csv format) of your data base and send it to you.

How do I implement SSL security?
You can also secure your data while it is being transmitted over the Internet by invoking SSL 128 bit encryption. To do this, add an ‘s’ after the letter ‘p’ to the http:// header in your browser navigation bar (so it reads https://), then log out and log back in. You will be prompted to accept a digital certificate. Accept the certificate. From that point forward you will be transmitting encrypted data.

Are they any limits on the number of records stored in the data base?
Yes. Check at pricing to see the quotas defined per edition.

What happens if I exceed my maximum allowed number of records stored in the data base?
You will get a message indicating you have exceeded your data space limit. To increase your limit you may license additional users for the purpose of acquiring additional data space.

Are there any limits on the number of emails I can send through your Campaigns application?
Yes. Check at pricing to see the quotas defined per edition.

Can I purchase the ability to send more email messages than the predefined limit?
Yes. You can license additional users for the purpose of increasing the limit of email messages sent.
